I, too, was a victim of spiritual abuse, and to make it even more confusing was the fact that the ones I loved the most were hurling it my way. Always striving for heaven is futile because too many seeds of doubt are planted. The message of hell should never be the motivator. Instead, understanding the depth, height, and width of His love on an unimaginable scale would show us the truth.
